Our intern Suzy, a graphic design student, shares some of her unexpected typography finds...
Typography is an element of design which often goes unnoticed, and more often than not, this indicates that it is doing a good job. Here’s a few examples I liked where typography finds its way into places you might not expect….
First up, a natural occurrence of typography! Maybe not the most legible but definitely impressive from a scale point of view.
A book case to encourage you to start getting through your book collection, which has always previously been ‘for display purposes only’ - I suppose they aren’t going to read themselves!
A sky alphabet created by creative architecture and handy town planning. Quite a visual impact when looking up from the street.
