Clearsilver have been commissioned to undertake extensive market research for their client The Katz Group. The research will be carried out in Mitchell’s and Butler’s Sizzling Pub chain outlets at eight key locations throughout the UK. The retail brand partner is Stella Artois and the project has been developed in conjunction with drinks industry leader – In Bev.
We believe that market research is essential to stay ahead of the game. The Katz Group want to stay on top of trends and takes on coasters as an effective advertising tool, as well as help extend reach and message for brand owners. Clearsilver’s research will help the Katz Group understand consumers’ current perception and usage of coasters as an advertising medium amongst consumers and will also measure recall of attitudes towards coaster advertising in a specific test case – using both regular and high added value coasters.
The research will test four alternative coaster concepts, two of which feature a promotional mechanic which drives on-line and sms responses.
Let’s hope the results are as positive as the last survey, when research revealed that 74 per cent of consumers respond positively to coasters as a non-intrusive communications medium!
