For more than forty years the City of Leeds Youth Orchestra (CLYO) has given generations of young players, aged 14-19 the opportunity to express their musical talents
With a reputation as one of the leading ensembles of its kind in the country CLYO is part of City of Leeds Youth Music (CLYM) and supported by Education Leeds through the Leeds Music Support Service.
Its repertoire ranges from Beethoven and Schubert to John Adams and Carl Jenkins. The orchestra plays regularly in Leeds and has performed in concert halls, churches and cathedrals throughout the United Kingdom and Europe.
