The Queen's Centre for Oncology and Haematology unit at Castle Hill is the new £67m centre and a UK Centre of Excellence for the treatment of patients with cancer and blood disorders
The centre aims to break away from the cold, sterile hospital environment. Patients are able to recuperate in warm, homely surroundings with spectacular views.
Castle Hill works with a number of parties including St. Stephen's Shopping Centre who are raising money and donating to Castle Hill to help make life more comfortable for patients staying in the cancer centre, particularly young people.
Money raised will provide leisure facilities and entertainment equipment for the centre.
