Yorkshire Cancer Research

Yorkshire Cancer Research is an independent charity dedicated to funding research, in Yorkshire, into the causes of and cures for cancer, which today accounts for one in four deaths in the UK.

Through a continuous timetable of fundraising activity, the charity raises millions of pounds a year to award grants to scientists working in universities and their associated teaching hospitals at Bradford, Hull, Leeds Sheffield and York.

The grants support vital research, so that cancer sufferers in Yorkshire and throughout the world have access to some of the best treatments and therapies.  This research is published and shared with the world's scientific community for the benefit of mankind.

Clearsilver are pleased to announce High Heel-a-thon '10 in aid of Yorkshire Cancer Research. For more information and to register visit the High Heel-a-thon website.
