The UKRC offers a wide range of services to a diverse target audience. The website needs to appeal to all these audiences, while allowing each page to be highly targeted to one group.
Fully Content-managed
The website is fully content-managed, which allows authorised users to manage all parts of the site. This access is controlled on a per-user basis, restricting individuals to specific areas of the site.
Blogging
The CMS features a blog tool that allows the creation of new blogs as required. Many of the UKRC’s projects have their own blog, allowing interaction from the people and organisations that benefit.
Social media
Social media is increasingly important in the UKRC’s vision. Twitter and Facebook pages are promoted throughout the site; and news and events are exported to Facebook and Linked In automatically.
