FIVE NEW YEAR APPOINTMENTS SEE YORKSHIRE-BASED LICK STORM INTO 2008
Industry leader the Lick Group has stormed into 2008 by significantly strengthening its team. Increasing the workforce with five new starters spanning across the group, this innovative company is set to build on past successes in 2008.
The Lick Group, consisting of Lick, Lick Online, and latest acquisition Lick Digital are renowned for dedication to customer service, which saw the company rewarded with an increased turnover of 15% in only three months toward the end of 2007. MD Linden Kitson sees the appointment of the five new faces, which will bring the Lick head count up to 53 as invaluable for heading up and supporting existing internal operations in the coming year.

The new starters have certainly noticed Lick’s outstanding commitment to meeting customer’s needs, Fred Mackender, or Mack as he’s known in the print world was appointed as Production Director at Lick in Dec 07, and commented “Lick is a dynamic company, and is fast becoming an increasingly dominant player across the printing industry. I left my job as Production Director because I could see the huge potential and opportunities the Lick Group had to offer me, the focus on building great relationships and delivering top results to customers is something you don’t see enough of in other companies.�
Matt Turner, Lick’s newly appointed Project Assistant gained his job at Lick after graduating from Leeds Metropolitan University with a Masters degree in Marketing and is more than happy with his first proper job since University. “I’m loving it so far, the Lick Group were a company I could really see myself working for. Not only are the attitudes of the staff and management really open which is refreshing, Lick also value their customers and put 100% into every job.�
Customer Service Executive Becky Devel started her new role as at Lick Online in December, echoed the praise for her new working environment “It’s great – everything is new and exciting and I’m learning so much – Lick appealed to me as company that’s young, fresh and everyone here works as a team� Becky added, “I knew I’d fit in as my personality and can-do attitude matched those already working here, we all get on and deliver customers top results.�
