St. George’s Crypt appoints Leeds based agency Clearsilver 9/02/2008

Leeds-based charity St. George’s Crypt have announced the appointment of locally based full service agency Clearsilver to handle their communications and marketing strategies for the foreseeable future.

St. George’s Crypt first started working with Clearsilver in October of 2007 when they began their recent ‘Now Then’ campaign. The campaign looked at the 77-year history of the Crypt and aimed to raise funds and awareness of the ongoing problem of homelessness in the city of Leeds.

Clearsilver supported the campaign all the way through, and the project saw the beginning of a strong relationship between the charity and agency.

“We’re always looking to receive help for the Crypt Fundraising director Martin Patterson commented when asked about the decision to appoint Clearsilver, “so when Clearsilver offered their services we jumped at the chance. It’s important for us to have a local agency, and Clearsilver have made the effort to really understand the work we do by attending events and visiting the Crypt and reflecting that in the work they’ve done. They’ve been a great source of knowledge and have consistently secured the Crypt regional, national and broadcast media coverage, he added.

Louise Leach, MD of Clearsilver is delighted the agency will continue to work with the Crypt. “It’s fantastic Louise enthused “We’ve learnt so much about the Crypt in the past months, and each time it’s become clearer how important their work is. Raising awareness goes hand in hand with that. We work hard at Clearsilver to get to know each of our clients and build a strong identity around them. With the carefully constructed campaigns Clearsilver will be implementing, St. George’s Crypt has huge potential to reach more people and effectively communicate their messages to wider audience. Louise commented.

Clearsilver’s clients include the Prospect Shopping Centre, Bleiker’s Smokehouse, Grampian Country Food Group, the Lick Group UK and the Michelin –starred Box Tree restaurant.
