Bleiker’s, an award winning, premium smokehouse situated in the Yorkshire Dales appointed us with a clear brief that they needed a hard hitting, awareness building PR and brand communications campaign.

Clearsilver implemented this campaign by first researching the current awareness levels of the Bleiker’s brand across all key media titles. Recognising that their brand awareness was significantly below that of its Scottish smokehouse competitors we set to work and spoke to each editor individually to arrange product drops with a range of Bleiker’s produce plus a release detailing both the history and key information about Bleiker’s brand.

Picked up by top publications including The Times, Observer Food Monthly and ‘foodie’ press such as Fresh magazine, saw awareness of the Bleiker’s brand soar by nearly 100%. Two months into the campaign, all top editors recognised the Bleiker’s name and would consider featuring Bleiker’s produce in the future – success!

Clearsilver also arranged for four top regional lifestyle publications to hold competitions to win Bleiker’s Christmas hampers, every one reporting that they had never witnessed such a good response to any single competition.
