The Box Tree is a Michelin-starred restaurant based in Ilkley, Yorkshire. Clearsilver were appointed by the restaurant to create and implement a PR campaign using a variety of tactics to reach both potential and existing customers.

Key objectives from the Box Tree were to increase awareness amongst the ABC1 target consumers through regular press releases and positive coverage,

We were also looking to position Head Chef, Simon Gueller, as a ‘foodie’ figurehead by submitting contributions and topical commentaries on relevant topics to both food glossies as well as regional and national media.

The Box Tree PR and brand communications campaign is ongoing and has so far delivered extensive media coverage in both online and offline media as well as broadcast media including Calendar TV, Radio Leeds and Radio Humberside.

Simon Gueller was invited to write the forward for the Leeds and York Food and Drink Guide, and has been asked for contributions to both regional and foodie press due to his heightened profile carved by Clearsilver.

Clearsilver also established and built the relationship between leading regional title the Yorkshire Evening Post where Simon has his own weekly column.
