This weekend we experienced our first virtual The Baby Show and we have to admit, it was fantastic. With several clients in the Mother and Baby sector, we’ve managed stands for award-wining brands and attended our fair share of baby shows in the UK, Ireland, America and across Europe; but this was our first time experiencing one remotely.
The Baby Show team really thought of everything to be able to bring all the highlights of the in-person show to new mums and mums-to-be in the comfort of their own homes. There was still access to live talks from leading mother and baby experts, clinics running advice sessions, as well as all the best exclusive shopping offers from new and established brands. For heavily pregnant women, it really must have been a dream come true!
New for the October show, was The Baby Show app, which enabled visitors to create a personalised timetable, bookmark brands you want to re-visit as well as book one-to-one meetings with brands or experts.
We caught up with Zoe, Emma and the team who deliver such a great event, showcasing much needed brands for expectant parents. We also enjoyed catching the MyBaba panel on ‘How to survive the first three months with a baby’. Some great advice from the lovely Lucinda Miller @naturedockids, Sarah Norris @thebabydetective, Becca Maberly @amotherplace and Dr Sophie Niedermaier @littletummy.co.
We’re all adjusting to a more virtual-based way of living, but if you’re expecting a new arrival next year, we’d really recommend checking out the next Baby Show in March 2021. And, if you need help or support with stand design, set-up, PR and marketing, find out more about how we can help, here.
